My House

Looking in from the hall way

Bathroom. Yes two shower heads. Kicker? Rarely hot water.

Two beds-hotel style. I sleep on the one with the nest.

Our display board. I had nothing to do with it. All the kiddos. The girls did the giraffe side. The boys did the Avengers side.

Came home yesteday to this giant flat screen T.V. Complete with 3-D glasses.

Sitting at my desk, looking into the hallway.

The rule tree I made. In the class, not my house.

The International Section of my school.

It's faster if you run

Hey. Yo. What up dog?! Things are good. Here is my mailing address. I've heard it's better if you use the Chinese one, but maybe they're both a good idea? I don't know. Assuming of course that you want to send mail. I'm not in need of anything at the moment, but you know. Should you choose to accept this challenge:

So there's that. I think work is going well. I am really enjoying it and I belive that people in charge are happy with the way I'm doing my thing. The Japan-China stuff is a little intense. I haven't seen any thing really, but I've heard that stuff is happening. A lot of our Japanses students have left. We have the first week of October off for National Day. I think we're going to Beijing, but perusual, I have done no planning, so I can't say anything for sure. I really enjoy my coworkers and I think we make a great team. We're still trying to naviagate life here; looking for hobbies and bars and things. We play a lot of "sport" outside. I hang out with all these English dudes and they say weird things like sport and maths. But I like them.

Any questions? Concerns? Comments? Things I should know? Kisses!

Weekend number 2: CHECK

Beling Park on a Saturday.

Beling Park.

Trying to make the most of the weather.

Chris leveled up.

We paid to get in the park to see the tombs. We paid to rent this surrey. We ended up TOTALLY LOST in the woods for 3 hours. We did not get to see any tombs. This was a regrettable decision that was hilarious for about 20 minutes and terrible for the remainder of the trip. Chris, Katie, Ann, Dave.

Dragon got Dave.

Dragons.

Playing outside.

This is the beginning, when it was still fun.

That's me. I kept forgetting that I had the bow on my head.

Playing tourist for the day.

It's faster if you run.

Beling Park.

Chris and Dave doing the tourist thing.

Hanging out with the gatekeeper.

This was at the end when it was not so fun. Also a little stuck.

This little dude made me giggle.

Ok OK OK. You can see some pictures.

Podcast you should check out! Yes, it is me. http://camelvstraw.podbean.com/

I'm a teacher!

Roger and Emma, from Ireland

Daniella and myself. She's the girl from Denmark who I lived with in the hotel.

Thats me and My boss, Dave from England.

On our first night out I hung out on a stripper pole. Just because I wanted to see where my friends were. I proceeded to do my teacher dance the entire night. On the pole. By myself. I had the time of my life.

Chris from England.

I went with the Irish folk to a cosplay convention. That was weird.

We would take their picture and then they would take ours. Cause we're white.

Dave, Chris, Brendon (England), Ann (America) not looking at the camera.

Brendon and Simon at the night market. (both from England)

Bieru from Indonesia.

Minsoo from Korea.

Amelia from New Zealand.

Wei Lang from Japan. She speaks neither English nor Chinese, so that's fun,

Sofia from Spain.

My assistant, Anna.

Survived Day 6!

Hey Guys! THIS IS MY 100th POST! HEYOO!
Quick update for those of you who care and are curious. I'm here and
in the swing of things. China is cool. Not even a little bit as
similar to Korea as I was expecting it to be. I work at a giant
International School. The campus is awesome and there is a pool! Yay.
We are currently in a hotel because of plumbing issues in the dorms.
My roommate is nice but being in such close quarters is wearing on me.
I just want some quiet time. My job is to be the Primary 5&6 homeroom
teacher. I have 6 kids in my class. They are 10-12 years old. Two from
indonesia, one from japan, new zealand, Korea, and spain. I am
responsible for creating the semester plan, daily curriculum, and all
the activities for them. We do Math(AHHHHH) Science, social studies,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeast_Yucai_School
literacy, and POI (they get to pick a 6 week project and we do it.)
Each 6 weeks, we have an over arching theme that we have to
inccorporate each lesson to. THis time we are working on Physical and
Mental Health. I am in no way qualified to be doing this kind of
teaching and planning. But hey! I work with about 10 other native
English speakers and they're all ok. Various reports about them at a
later date. I have friends though guys,  don't worry. I have to stay
signed on to skype all day because that is how we do file transfers
and stuff, so I'm not ignoring your calls, I'm just working. I havent'
been able to be on my compy at night because my young roommate uses it
to talk to mom and boyfriend all the time. Umm I think that covers it.
I just wanted you all to know that I am thinking about you and that
I'm doing ok.  I am not allowed to wear flipflops to work. Closed toes only.
Guess how happy that makes me. Here is the wikipedia link of the city I'm in/near/around. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenyang and my school. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeast_Yucai_School   hmmmm what else. Nothing really. The food is ok. Not as delicious as I was hoping, but ok. Cheap. No pictures for you yet. Soon. I think thats all for now. Anything awesome happening at home? Once again I find myself out of touch with the world and reality. LOVE!
