The Philippines

The Philippines with Clay and Mom and Dad were awesome.

We started in Cebu City, then to Olongo Island, Bohol Island, Siquijor Island, back to Cebu to pick Mom and Dad up, then down to Oslob to snorkel with whale sharks. It was awesome. So good. Highly recommend the Philippines.

Hong Kong, Xian, and Chengdu

Happy 2015! For Christmas, Clay and I met Emma and Roger in Hong Kong. It was good. Cold, but good. Then we had three days of work, followed by five more days off. Clay and I went to Xi'an to see the Terra Cotta Warriors and Chengdu to see the pandas. Both were very cool. Now we have about 3 more weeks of crazy work and then The Philippines!

Woah Christmas time!

Holy cow! I forgot to update this for a while. My apologies. I'm sure you're all very curious about where I've been and what I've been doing. I'll tell you. I've been working. A lot. Work has been crazy. good, but crazy. I've been at school for about 12 hours a day and then I have to do more on the weekends. I love it, but I'm busy.

So that's really it. It's cold here. Right around freezing all the time. Not Shenyang cold, but not warm either.

Lots of big events happening in my life soon!

We get 4 days for Christmas off, so my coworker, Clay and I are going to Hong Kong to meet up with Emma and Roger, the Irish couple that I worked with in Shenyang and who now work in Kuwait.

Then, we get 5 days off for New Years, and Clay and I are going to Xi'an to see the Terra Cotta army and Chengdu to see the pandas.

THEN, we get 3 weeks off in February and Clay and I are going to the Philippines. The coolest part of that is that mom and dad are meeting me there for the last week! I'm so excited.

Hallobeachelection

So busy! First, we had a three hour Halloween party on Friday. It was fun. The kids organized and ran the entire thing and they did great. Saturday and Sunday we were at the "beach" which was a 3 hour crammed in a van trip, a few hours in an ancient city, a huge sea food meal, more van time, orange picking, more van time, about 30 minutes on a beach, another huge meal, sleeping, van time, huge meal, van time. It was fun. We saw a truck. Not a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. Oh no. The brand of this truck was Wingle. I'm still laughing about that. Election Day is tomorrow for Dad! Good luck! I love you.
